Where we fought lord Vishnu?

śāntākāraṃ bhujaga-śayanaṃ padma-nābhaṃ sureśaṃ
viśvādhāraṃ gagana-sadṛśaṃ megha-varṇaṃ śubhāṅgam ।
lakṣmī-kāntaṃ kamala-nayanaṃ yogibhir dhyāna-gamyaṃ
vande viṣṇuṃ bhava-bhaya-haraṃ sarva-lokaika-nātham ॥
This verse alone is enough to give someone a taste of Vishnu's glory.
śāntākāram—The one whose appearance reflects tranquility and serenity. He's ever calm and free from restlessness.
bhujaga-śayanam—He who reclines on the bed of a serpent. Sesha is the thousand hooded serpent that makes the bed for the Lord.
padmanābham—The one from whose navel sprouts a lotus. It is on this lotus that Brahma is born, and further begins his creation.
sureśam—The one who is the Lord of Devas. The Suras eternally worship him and seek refuge under his compassionate gaze.
viśvādhāram—The one who is the support of this entire world. As Sesha, he lifts the whole world upon thousands of his hoods marked with the auspicious symbol of Swastika.
gagana-sadṛśam—The one who's infinite and without limitations, just like sky, and has no beginning or end.
megha-varṇam—The one whose complexion is like the rain-bearing clouds, whose appearance is as blissful as the sight of rain-bearing clouds to the parched earth.
śubhāṅgam—The one from whose body oozes out the aura of auspiciousness and prosperity.
lakṣmīkāntam—He who is the beloved of Lakshmi. She's the reason behind his eternal smile and his radiance, and is eternally enshrined in his heart. She is his Shakti.
kamala-nayanam—The one whose eyes are shaped like petals of lotus.
yogibhir dhyāna-gamyam—He who is the destination of the meditative journey of all Yogins.
bhava-bhaya-haram—The one who takes away all fears of this world, including that of death and loss, thereby freeing away from these repeated cycles of birth and death.
sarva-lokaika-nātham—The one who is the Lord of all the abodes that exist. He's the owner of all. Every region comes under his jurisdiction.
We salute that Lord Vishnu (vande viṣṇum).
